SINGAPORE (ICIS)--PetroChina is planning to shut its 600,000 tonne/year bitumen plant, operated by its subsidiary PetroChina Xingneng Asphalt, at Jiangyin in ?xml:namespace>
The turnaround is scheduled to last for about 45 days.
However, the shutdown schedule could be delayed if bitumen demand becomes strong, the source added.
The plant primarily produces AH-70, AH-90, polymer modified bitumen (PMB) and emulsified bitumen.
