SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Netherlands-based trading firm Vitol has purchased 55,000 tonnes of April loading naphtha from India’s Reliance, traders said on Friday.

The cargo, scheduled to be loaded from Sikka port on 10-15 April, was bought at plus $41/tonne (€30.8m) to FOB (free on board) Middle East quotes, the traders said.

Reliance had previously sold 75,000 tonnes of naphtha to Trafigura at plus $57/tonne to FOB Middle East quotes, they added.

Naphtha premiums have softened amid easing concerns over supplies and subdued buying interest from regional cracker operators.
