Foster Wheeler signs services agreement with US Dow Chemical

LONDON (ICIS)--Foster Wheeler has signed an agreement to provide project management, engineering, construction and consultancy services to US major Dow Chemical, the Switzerland-headquartered petrochemical engineering firm said on Monday.

Under the agreement, which has an initial term of three years, Foster Wheeler will provide support to selected projects across Dow's portfolio of businesses including specialty chemicals, advanced materials, agrosciences and plastics.

"With our global network of operations, our focus on the geographies where Dow plans to invest, and our proven high-quality project delivery, we are ideally positioned to support Dow in delivering the capital project programme to advance their growth objectives," said Umberto della Sala, chief operating officer of Foster Wheeler.

Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.
