SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Thailand’s PTT Global Chemical (PTTGC) has issued a tender to sell 5,000-10,000 tonnes of paraxylene (PX) for loading in mid-May, a company source said on Thursday.

The cargo will be sold on an FOB (free on board) Map Ta Phut basis and will be priced against 50% Asian Contract Price (ACP): 50% spot CFR (cost & freight) Taiwan quotes.

PTTGC last sold PX for second-half April loading to an India-based trader at a premium of $8-9/tonne (€6.08-6.76) to published quotes.
