BASF starts planned maintenance at Texas complex

HOUSTON (ICIS)--BASF is starting a planned turnaround at its Port Arthur complex in Texas, market sources said on Wednesday.

The company has a 934,000 tonne/year naphtha cracker at the site.

The unit is expected to be off line for 50 days, according to sources.

BASF did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
