SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Vietnam’s Orient Bio-Fuels is planning to shut its 300,000 litre/day ethanol facility in Binh Phuoc province in early May, for cleaning and maintenance, a company source said on Wednesday.

The plant, which produces mainly anhydrous-grade ethanol, will be shut for about two weeks, the source said.

Orient Bio-Fuels is a joint venture between PetroVietnam and Japanese trading firm ITOCHU.
