SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Belgian producer Solvay Group plans to invest yuan (CNY) 136m ($22m) to build a 100,000 tonne/year epichlorohydrin (ECH) plant at Taixing in eastern China, a source close to the company said on Friday.
The plant will be operated by the Belgian firm's wholly-owned subsidiary - Solvay Bio-Chemistry (Taixing) Co, the source said, without disclosing details on when construction will start.
The proposed Taixing ECH plant is expected to generate annual sales of CNY1.8bn, the source said.
