HOUSTON (ICIS)--KBR Building Group will provide general contracting services for a new injection-moulding plant to be built by CTL Packaging in Dallas, North Carolina, the construction company said on Thursday.
It will be the first US plant for CTL Packaging, a privately held Spanish company with operations in Spain and France. It will be used to produce plastic tubes and caps for cosmetics and personal-care products, according to KBR Building Group.
The facility, estimated to cost $58.5m (€46.2m), will be located on a 60-acre (24-ha) site in the Gastonia Technology Park. It will employ about 130 people, according to the Gaston County Economic Development Commission.
