HOUSTON (ICIS)--Motiva restarted its Houston refinery in Texas after a plant-wide outage on Sunday, the company reported to the state environmental group on Monday.

Emissions were routed to the plant flare, and the refinery was brought back to operational status, according to a filing with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).

The refinery has a capacity of 280,390 bbl/day.

Spot market sources gave no indication that the event had any effect on trading.

Motiva did not respond immediately to the status of the refinery.
