HOUSTON (ICIS)--US Albemarle plans to double its revenue to $5bn (€3.9bn) by 2015 from 2010, the company said on Tuesday.
The goal is part of Albemarle’s Vision 2015 plan, which chief executive Luke Kissam presented during Albemarle’s investor conference in New York City.
"Vision 2015, our five-year plan to double the size of our business, is predicated upon our ability to leverage our core strengths to drive organic growth and expand into adjacent markets," Kissam said.
In 2011, the company’s sales increased 21% from 2010, to $2.9bn, while net income increased 35% to $436m.
The company said this growth puts it on track to meet its 2015 goals.
