Japan’s Idemitsu Kosan nominates June PX ACP at $1,500/tonne

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Japan’s Idemitsu Kosan has nominated its June paraxylene (PX) Asian Contract Price (ACP) at $1,500/tonne (€1,200/tonne), a company source said on Thursday.

The nominated price is $50/tonne lower than the May PX ACP settlement of $1,550/tonne CFR (cost and freight) Asia.

Rival Japanese producer, JX Nippon Oil & Energy had nominated its June PX ACP at $1,550/tonne CFR Asia on 22 May

($1 = €0.80)
