SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Shandong Mingrui Chemical Group switched to monoammonium phosphate (MAP) production from diammonium phosphate (DAP) production at its MAP/DAP swing plant in Shandong province, east China, on 21 May because of an MAP export order, a company source said on Thursday.

Details on the MAP export order were not immediately available.

The plant has a DAP capacity of 100,000 tonnes/year, the source added, without specifying its annual MAP capacity.

The company is expected to produce MAP until mid-June, according to the source.
