TOKYO (ICIS)--Japanese chemical producer Showa Denko plans to restart its 695,000 tonne/year cracker at ?xml:namespace>
“We will feed naphtha into the plant on [8 June]. It takes several days until [the plant] can start normal operation, so we expect [the cracker] to reach full-rate operation by around mid-June, depending on how the process goes,” the official said.
The official said this was because the repair work at the cracker is taking longer than expected.
