HOUSTON (ICIS)--US ethanol inventories came down in the final week of May while production increased, according to Energy Information Administration (EIA) data released on Wednesday.
Ethanol inventories for the week that ended on 1 June were at 21.2m bbl, down by 300,000 bbl or 1.4% from 21.5m bbl a week earlier.
Ethanol production was at 904,000 bbl/day, up 2,000 bbl/day or 0.2% from 902,000 bbl/day the previous week.
