HOUSTON (ICIS)--US polymer-grade propylene (PGP) contracts for June settled at 52 cents/lb ($1,146/tonne, €917/tonne) on Thursday, falling by 15.50 cents/lb from May on pressure from weaker demand and lower upstream energy costs.
The drop is the second in as many months as the US contract shed 10 cents/lb in May.
