LONDON (ICIS)--An initial European June paraxylene (PX) settlement has been agreed at €1,090/tonne ($1,363/tonne), down by €120/tonne from last month’s contract, one producer confirmed on Monday.
A decrease of some magnitude was expected for the European settlement following a $195/tonne decline in the June Asian Contract Price (ACP).
The European settlement was agreed on a free delivered (FD) northwest Europe (NWE) basis.
