SINGAPORE (ICIS)--?xml:namespace>China’s Jiangsu Ruihe Fertilizer Co Ltd plans to restart its 250,000tone/year monoammonium phosphate (MAP) unit on 1 July after half a month of shutdown for maintenance, a company source said on Friday.
The unit was taken off line on 11 June.
The unit’s turnaround is expected to have a limited impact on the east China market due to weak demand of the material, a market player said.
The spot prices of MAP in east China were assessed at yuan (CNY) 2,650/tonne ($416/tonne) EXW (ex-works) on 11 June, a decrease of CNY100/tonne from the same period in May, according to data from Chemease, an ICIS service in China.
