Japan’s Mitsubishi Engineering Plastics plans POM maintenance

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--?xml:namespace>Japan’s Mitsubishi Engineering Plastics is planning to shut its 20,000 tonne/year polyacetal (POM) plant in Yokkaichi in September or October for around three weeks of maintenance, a company source said on Tuesday.
Mitsubishi Engineering Plastics is a joint venture between Mitsubishi Gas Chemical and Mitsubishi Chemical.
POM, which is also known as acetal, polyoxymethylene and polyformaldehyde, is an engineering thermoplastic used in precision parts.By: Heng Hui+65 6780 4359
