US BD producer nominates 10% drop for July contract
A US butadiene (BD) producer on Friday nominated a 10% drop for its July contracts, confirming market projections calling for a double-digit reduction next month.

US June PX contracts fall 9 cents/lb on Asia pricing
The US June paraxylene (PX) contract has been settled at 67.50 cents/lb ($1,488/tonne, €1,176/tonne), lower by 9.00 cents/lb from May, market participants said on Thursday.

US Enterprise to build on-purpose propylene unit in Texas
US midstream services company Enterprise Products  will build a propane dehydrogenation (PDH) unit in Texas, the company said on Wednesday.

Germany's K+S breaks ground on C$3.25bn Canada potash project
K+S has officially broken ground at its Canadian dollar (C$) 3.25bn ($3.19bn) potash project in Canada’s Saskatchewan province, the Germany-based fertilizer firm said on Wednesday.

US VAM spot prices drop $50/tonne on further declines in ethylene
Spot prices for US vinyl acetate monomer (VAM) have continued to fall in the past week on declining ethylene costs, dropping $50/tonne (€40/tonne), buyers and sellers said on Tuesday.
