China’s Yangzi Petrochemical plans cracker maintenance July-Sept

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--?xml:namespace>China’s Sinopec Yangzi Petrochemical plans to shutdown its 300,000 tonnes/year naphtha cracker for maintenance from 15 July to 5 September, a company source said on Wednesday.
Yangzi Petrochemical also has a 350,000 tonnes/year naphtha cracker at the same site in Nanjing, Jiangsu province, which will keep running during the shutdown period.
The general operating rate of both crackers was at 80% during June, the company source added.By: Lilian Hua
