US CB&I wins work on Kearl oil sands expansion project in Canada

LONDON (ICIS)--CB&I has won a contract from Imperial Oil Resources Ventures for work on the Kearl oil sands expansion project in Alberta, Canada, the US-based petrochemicals engineering firm said on Monday.

Kearl is being developed by Imperial Oil, the Canadian affiliate of US energy and petrochemicals major ExxonMobil.

CB&I said that under the $300m (€237m) contract, it will provide procurement and module assembly at its Fort Saskatchewan facilities in Canada, and construction and installation of modular components at the site.
