SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Thailand’s PTT Global Chemical (PTTGC) plans to restart its 250,000 tonne/year high density polyethylene (HDPE) plant at Map Ta Phut at end-July after a month-long turnaround, a company source said on Monday.

PTTGC’s other PE plants at the same site are operating at full rates, the source said.

PTTGC has a HDPE plant with a 300,000 tonne/year capacity, a 400,000 tonne/year linear low density PE (LLDPE) plant and a 300,000 tonne/year low density PE (LDPE) unit at the same site.
