HOUSTON (ICIS)--France-based Global Bioenergies has opened an office in the US, the company said on Monday.
The office is in Ames, Iowa. It will focus on Global Bioenergies’ programme for bioconversion of renewable resources into isobutene and other light olefins, the company said.
Industrial biology specialist David Gogerty will lead the office.
Global Bioenergies has been developing a process to convert renewable resources into hydrocarbons through fermentation.
