South Korea’s YNCC buys August naphtha at $8.50/tonne premium

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korean producer Yeochun NCC (YNCC) has bought 100,000 tonnes of spot naphtha for August delivery, traders said on Thursday.

The company bought the cargo at a premium of about $8.50/tonne (€7/tonne) to Japan quotes CFR (cost & freight), they said.

On 11 July, South Korea’s LG Chem bought at least 25,000 tonnes of open-spec naphtha for second-half August arrival at a premium of $7.50/tonne to Japan quotes CFR.
