Nigeria fuel tanker fire kills at least 95

HOUSTON (ICIS)--At least 95 people were killed on Thursday in Nigeria when a fuel tanker caught fire, according to news reports.

The petrol tanker had crashed and caught fire as people crowded at the scene in an attempt to scoop up fuel, according to Reuters.

The incident took place in Rivers State, located in the country's oil-rich southern region, according to CNN.
