SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s Samsung Total has restarted its petrochemical complex in Daesan over the weekend after a power outage shut the facilities at the site on 20 July morning, a company source said on Monday.
“The complex is running at 100% already today,” the source said.
The Daesan complex includes a 1m tonne/year cracker.
No significant production loss stemmed from the outage, the source said.
