CAMPINAS, Brazil (ICIS)--Brazilian petrochemical producer Braskem said on Monday the company is yet to set deadlines for three plants, adding the projects still have to be submitted to the company's Administration Council.

The projects include an ethanol-based polypropylene (PP) plant, a second ethanol-based polyethylene (PE) plant, and a naphtha-based PP plant, it said.

Braskem denied a recent news report which reported that the company would delay the three projects.

"None of these three projects have a defined deadline because they were not submitted for the approval of the Administration Council," said Nelson Letaif, Braskem's communication director.
