LONDON (ICIS)--Novapex’s 40,000 tonne/year isopropanol (IPA) plant in Roussillon, France, will enter into a two-week planned maintenance shutdown from 1-15 August, a company source said on Friday.

“We are shutting the plant down in August because demand will be quiet,” the source added.

Novapex said it had worked closely with its customers to minimise the impact on demand the shutdown will cause during the traditionally quiet European summer holiday period.
