India’s BPCL issues tender to buy 4,500 tonnes Group I base oil

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--India’s Bharat Petroleum Corp Ltd (BPCL) has issued a tender to purchase 4,500 tonnes of Group I base oil, according to a tender document released late on Friday.

BPCL is looking to buy 1,500 tonnes of SN150, 2,000 tonnes of SN500 and 1,000 tonnes of brightstock, which are to be delivered on 1-15 September to Mumbai, India. The tender closes on 7 August and the results will be made known on 10 August, according to the document.

Prices will be quoted on a CFR (cost & freight) basis and technical specifications are to meet American Society of Testing Materials (ASTM) standards, according to the document.

The pricing information is not immediately available.
