TOKYO (ICIS)--Japanese chemical producer Ube Industries has established a new subsidiary in Haryana, India, in order to expand its sales network of nylon and fine chemicals and explore the country’s rapidly growing market, the company said on Monday.

The business operation of the new company, Ube Industries India, is expected to start up in August, Ube Industries said.

Ube Industries said it aims, through the subsidiary, to strengthen its functions including sales and the procurement of feedstocks.

Ube (Thailand) will hold a 100% share of Ube Industries India because of its proximity to the new company, Ube Industries said.

The primary businesses of Ube (Thailand) are also in the sale of nylon and fine chemicals, according to Ube Industries.
