NewsFlashUS ethylene July contracts rise nearly 8% to 42 cents/lb

HOUSTON (ICIS)--US ethylene contracts for July settled on Thursday at 42 cents/lb ($926/tonne, €759/tonne), rising by 3 cents/lb from June on higher production costs and increased spot prices last month.

The settlement represents an increase of nearly 8% compared with June, when the monthly contract settled at 39 cents/lb.
