Czech chemical production slips 0.1% in June

LONDON (ICIS)--Czech chemical and chemical products output slipped by 0.1% year on year in June, the Czech Statistical Office (CZSO) said on Monday.

Overall industrial production during June in the Czech Republic fell by 2.2% compared with the same month last year, following the 2.4% year-on-year decrease in May, it added.

Textile and furniture production were flat, the manufacture of rubber and plastic products fell by 0.4%, production of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers gained 0.8% and the manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations decreased by 0.4%, the CZSO added.
