SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Tianjin Tiantai Industries plans to restart its 90,000 tonne/year solvent oil plant in Tianjin in early October when its scheduled maintenance ends, a company source said on Thursday.
However, the company has not decided on the exact restart date, according to the source.
Tianjin Tiantai Industries has halted sales as its entire inventory has been sold, the source added. The supply of solvent oil will tighten as a result of the extended shutdown and prices may rise.
It manufactures No 6 and No 120 solvent oils and normally produces a total of 3,500 tonnes/month of material.
