SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s ENN Group is planning to begin trial runs at its new 300,000 cbm/day coal-bed methane (CBM) liquefaction plant at Qinshui county in Shanxi province on 20 August, a company source said on Thursday.

The company may start commercial operations at the plant in early September this year, according to the source.

Feedstock for the new CBM unit will be mainly supplied by China United CBM, the source said.

A new 1,500cbm storage tank has also been built at same site, according to the source.

The company runs another 150,000cbm/day coal-bed methane liquefaction plant at Qinshui.

Output from the two plants will all be distributed out by ENN Energy Trading, the source added.
