China's Cangzhou Dahua to shut down one TDI unit in August

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--?xml:namespace>China’s Cangzhou Dahua Chemical plans to shut its 30,000 tonne/year toluene di-isocyanate (TDI) unit for an annual turnaround at Cangzhou in Hebei province on 23 August, a company source said on Thursday.
The key TDI producer in China will restart the unit in early September, the source added.
During this turnaround period, its two other units situated at the same site will remain fully operational. The units’ total capacity for producing TDI is 150,000 tonnes/year. By: Vikki Shen
