Linde to break ground on US air separation plant in Arkansas

HOUSTON (ICIS)--Linde will break ground on a new air separation plant in Lewisville, Arkansas, on 22 August, the Germany-based international industrial gases major said on Thursday.

The 470 tonne/day plant will produce liquid nitrogen and oxygen to meet rapidly growing demand in Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas, after starting up in the fourth quarter of 2013, Linde said.

It will supply customers in the chemical, food, metal and other industries.

Financial details were not disclosed.
