The plant – which has two lines with a combined phenol capacity of 400,000 tonnes/year, and a combined acetone capacity of 250,000 tonnes/year – will be kept off line until 30 September, the source said.
It is still uncertain if resumption of operations at the plant will be delayed, as maintenance work may take longer time than expected, the source said.
The phenol/acetone plant is currently running at 100% capacity, the source said.
