SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Taiwan VCM (TVCM) has postponed the scheduled turnaround at its 410,000 tonne/year vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) plant in ?xml:namespace>
However, the company decided to postpone the shutdown after discovering that the catalyst is still performing well during a recent decoking exercise early this month, the source said.
Consequently, TVCM has some cargo available for September-loading exports, the source said.
The VCM unit is currently running at more than 95% of capacity, according to the source.
