Pinnacle Polymers begins restart of Louisiana PP plant

HOUSTON (ICIS)--Pinnacle Polymers is beginning the restart of its 470,000 tonne/year polypropylene (PP) plant in Garyville, Louisiana, a company official said on Friday.

The plant was shut down earlier because of Hurricane Isaac. The company brought back one line on Friday, the official said.

There was no estimate on when the remaining units will be restarted.

Pinnacle is among several companies that have announced plans to restart plants. The following lists the companies that have announced such plans.
