SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Teijin will integrate its products converting firm N.I. Teijin Shoji with Teijin Fibers’ apparel business and launch the combined companies as Teijin Frontier on 1 October, the Japanese chemical and pharmaceutical group said on Tuesday.
Teijin Frontier will handle the development, sales and trading of fibre raw materials, apparel products and industrial materials, Teijin said in a statement.
The new company will have 20 consolidated firms in its group, including nine in ?xml:namespace>
Teijin Frontier will have around 800 employees and will be led by Tetsushi Takenaka, who is currently the president of N.I. Teijin Shoji.
