SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korean producer LG MMA has shut its 76,000 tonne/year No 3 methyl methacrylate (MMA) line at Yeosu for six and a half days of maintenance, a company source said on Thursday.
Its 50,000 tonne/year No 2 line at the same site is also scheduled to be shut on 11 September for six and a half days of maintenance, he said.
Meanwhile, the company's 50,000 tonne/year No 1 line, also at the same site, is operating at normal capacity and will be shut in October for catalyst changing, he added without elaborating further.
Market sources do not expect much impact from the shutdown as demand is stable and the turnaround is planned.
