SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s LG Chem plans to restart its Naju 150,000 tonne/year 2-ethylhexanol (2-EH) plant on 18 September after completing its annual maintenance, a company source said on Friday.

The company took the plant off line on 3 September, the source added.

LG Chem is currently running its other 150,000 tonne/year 2-EH plant in Yeosu at full capacity, the source said.

The company plans to shut its Yeosu 2-EH plant on 20 November for about two weeks for annual maintenance, the source added.
