HOUSTON (ICIS)--DuPont plans to shut down its Orange cracker in Texas in late September for a planned turnaround, market sources said on Wednesday.
The 680,000 tonne/year unit will go down on 28 September for up to two weeks, according to sources.
A DuPont spokesperson declined to comment, citing policy.
Two other crackers in Texas are scheduled to have maintenance in the next few weeks, while a third unit in Louisiana is scheduled for a shutdown in the fourth quarter.
