SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Changzhou Qinghong Chemical restarted its 50,000 tonne/year phthalic anhydride (PA) plant in Changzhou, Jiangsu province on 20 September, a company source said on Thursday.
“We are currently running the plant at low operating rates and are expecting to achieve on-spec production this weekend.” the source added.
The company shut the plant because of a technical problem, according to the source.
The restart will increase PA supply in east China, a market player said.
