Japan’s Kaneka to shut Takasago PVC unit on 7 November

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Japan’s Kaneka Corp plans to shut its 290,000 tonne/year polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plant at Takasago on 7 November for a turnaround, a company source said on Friday.

The maintenance will last until 20 November, the source added.

The Takasago unit is currently running at full rate, according to the source.
