HOUSTON (ICIS)--BASF TOTAL Petrochemicals said on Friday production has been restored at its Port Arthur cracker in Texas.
The 936,000 tonne/year unit went down on Tuesday as a result of an instrument failure at a major compressor.
Production was restored on Thursday, a company spokesperson said.
The cracker is a joint venture between BASF and Total.
