The company plans to shut one of the two 120,000 tonne/year lines at the plant on 10 November for 15 days and the other line on 15 November for 10 days, according to the source.
Both lines will be restarted on 25 November, the source added.
The unit is operating at 85% capacity currently the source said.
In view of the current operating rate and the upcoming November maintenance, the company will not supply cargoes to the spot market from September to November, the source said.
However, the shutdown is expected to have little impact on the Chinese ACN market. The company mainly supplies its products to domestic downstream factories and sells few cargoes to the spot market, a market source said.
