Fire hits US ExxonMobil's complex in Baytown

HOUSTON (ICIS)--A fire started at ExxonMobil's complex in Baytown, Texas, the company said on Wednesday.

The company was bringing the fire under control, it said.

ExxonMobil did not say when or where the fire started. Also, the company did not say which, if any, units were affected.  

The complex has a 584,000 bbl/day refinery and two chemical plants that make butyl rubber and polypropylene (PP).
