Japan's Seibu Oil to run Yamaguchi refinery at 100% after restart

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Seibu Oil plans to run its 120,000 bbl/day refinery in Japan's Yamaguchi prefecture at 100% capacity for the month of October, after restarting it on 2 October, a source close to the company said on Friday.

The refinery was restarted after having been taken off line on 27 August for a scheduled turnaround.

Seibu Oil is an affiliate of Showa Shell Sekiyu KK Showa.

Other Showa Shell affiliates include Showa Yokkaichi Sekiyu, which operates a 210,000 bbl/day in Yokkaichi and Toa Oil, which operates a 65,000 bbl/day Keihin Mizue refinery in Kawasaki.
