Indonesia’s Pertamina issues tender to sell Group I base oils

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Indonesia’s Pertamina has issued a tender to sell a total of 7,000 tonnes of Group I base oils, according to a tender document obtained by ICIS on Monday.

The tender, which was issued late on 5 October, is for 7,000 tonnes of Group I base oils – comprising 2,000 tonnes of SN130; 3,000 tonne of SN500, and; 2,000 tonnes of brightstock.

There will be two separate laycans, with one to be shipped between 22-24 October containing 2,000 tonnes of SN130 and 1,500 tonnes of SN500; while other, due to be shipped on 28-30 October, will contain 2,000 tonnes of brightstock and 1,500 tonnes of SN500.

The tender closes on 9 October.

This is Pertamina’s fourth  tender in two months. The previous tenders were unsuccessful due to a lack of vessels.
